the little red truck

This stamp, "Old Truck" by Darkroom door, was perfect
for the challenge over at Fashionable Stamping
plus also a male card for a birthday coming up.
Way out of my comfort zone but was fun in the making.

For the stamp I used my misti, Tombow pens, spritz of water,
and water colour paper. A few dies were added and DP.
I love this challenge blog as it is very inspiring to create
cards/creations out of one's comfort zone.

This is a birthday card for our neighbour whom we forgot was his
birthday last week.

You're absolutely right Annie, the 'Old Truck' stamp is just perfect for our challenge. I love everything about this card, the intensity of the red on the focal image is just so bold and I love how you've built up so many wonderful layers. The newspaper looks great and adds beautifully in giving your card a real vintage feel. This is such a well thought out piece of artwork.
