Here in Australia, as it is always hot at Christmas,

and celebrate outdoors.  We have a huge celebration
including a lot of goodies, like a Christmas Pudding,
lots of cherries and fruits. [fruit salad or pavlova]
We do have Christmas trees up and lots of
wonderful lights.  Oh and the flies and mozzies..
Here is my card....

You celebrate Christmas in the summer differently from us, lots of lights here to get through the dark and cold days! But BBQ with Christmas sounds very cozy, hihi and your card full of humor is so stunning .... good job !!

Love the added traditional elements too, the snowy tree and lamp post and of course the kangaroos and sleigh. Your Christmas celebrations sound great...but you can keep the flies and mozzies!!!

Hahahahaha! He's a character and I'm so glad you have him to help you celebrate your Aussie Christmas! LOVE the sleigh pulled by the kangaroos. I remember seeing you use that die before. We should see your Aussie style Christmas cards more often. I love it!

Annie that is just adorable and just so opposite of what I am used to since our weather is just the opposite.

Hi Annie, a super Aussie Christmas card, love the Aussie Santa stamp, I have used him many times in the past. I hope you and yours are safe from the fires and are not suffering with the excessive smoke plume over much of NSW, I've been inside today out of the thick smoke coming from 50k's away. Have a wonderful weekend.. Megan

What a fabulously Aussie style Christmas Card! Gotta love the Christmas Loving griller, and the fun white die cuts all around the border! My favorite Part? That's hard to tell, wither it is the Santa hat on the t-shirt, or the fingernails so carefully colored, or the red nose (maybe he wants to lead Santa's Rein-roos?) no no no - it's none of those amazing details, it's Santa's sleigh with kangaroos pulling it! One of them needs a red nose, though. Your sentIment is FANTASTIC! love love LOVE! oh... and now let me wear a different hat and say... So happy I got to see your creation at Jan’s Digi Stamp Challenges . Thanks for the inspiration, and I hope to see more of your designs soon.
Smiles,
Donna
