Two Teds

Measuring my paint and floetrol ratios today
for my acrylic pouring projects I put them to the
test and was happy with it all.
Using  stamps I have had for a while by
Crafty Individuals called "Two Teds" and
 "Beautiful birdcages",  I thought I'd
add them to my project.  Bears are coloured with Inktense pencils,
a Die cut by Cheery Lynn and foam mounted onto the canvas.
As my painting looks like a tree branch I used the birds and
stamped onto tissue paper with Memento ink,
 & using Liquitex to adhere.

This technique I used is called
The Dip Technique.

Balloon smash acrylic pour updated with link

Today it was a bit of a lost day, busy and
cold. Tonight I thought I'd have a play while
the footy was on and played with a new technique,
using a couple of balloons blown up a little and
dabbing it onto the wet paint.
This is my very first attempt at Acrylic Pouring.
Rather fun technique but I had to stamp then
'fussy cut' my image on the Scan n Cut then double
foam it to the canvas as the stamp wouldn't go on clearly.
The lantern was painted/dabbed with yellow acrylic paint.
The paint was a bit thin as many additives are needed and
obviously I was a tad light on with my ratios...
These are Lavinia stamps and are available at
