An 'old' crafting friend, I have not seen for a while,
wanted to have lunch yesterday and catch up.

We ended up making some cards as well.
She needed some for her grandchildren
and I wanted one for a friend's grandchild.

We both created something similar and this is my card.
Using my distressed oxides, a smooshing technique she never used,
dies, and some of her stamps.
My flower was made with foamiran and it was nice
to share and teach someone else how to use foamiran.
This is one of the flowers my friend added to her card,
using my Heartfelt Creations hibiscus die.

Annie, Your card is GORGEOUS! Glad that you were able to have lunch, gossip and make cards that was a well spent day. Glad that your baby had a negative biopsy. Poor baby looks like she is traumatized from the event though and hope she recovers well. Our furbabys are so important.

Gorgeous card Annie! Lovely smooshed background with wonderful stamped foliage. I love the giraffe reaching up to smell the pretty flower, so sweet. I like how you've used Glossy Accents on the giraffe and the sentiment too.

Hi Annie, Your 'young' card is gorgeous, the background is so beautiful and so is all the wonderful detail. The flower your friend made with the HFC flower die is gorgeous as well. (I love their dies, have many). I can't wait to make 3D flowers again, but probably won't have my craft room 'up & running' until sometime in October. I hope you are doing well.
