miracle man

I have just completed a double scrapbook page
of my  dear dad when I was caring for him in my home.
He was so loving and caring and is
missed so much...
This is one of the pages on display.
Using up bits n pieces of scraps I had from a
while back as intentions to make memories
of his life at the time ceased when he
passed away.  He was life and love
and a survivor of bowel cancer at the age of 90,
living until almost 103...my  miracle dad!
Now it is time to relive his memories.

Oh, Annie, you loved him so much it must have been very difficult to lose him, and now maybe the time is right to review and preserve the photo history. You've made a beautiful page and the beginning of a lovely tribute.

What a lovely, lovely page Annie and perfect that you should share it today when my own Darling dad is in my thoughts. It's 27 years ago today that he was cruelly taken from us at the age of 55, after suffering a heart attack 6 days previously. Declan was 2 at the time... how time flies xx

Such a treasured memory you have created here aNNie. Love that it is in black and white. I think colour would have lost just how beautiful this photo is. Lovely finish with the coloured flowers. Perfect. Look forward to seeing more memories of you and your Dad. He certainly lived a full life! Hugs.
