The lockdown, although not a lot different to my everyday life, has brought me to use all of my unused goodies. STAMPloration stamps and stencil have come to light and were 'itching' to be used again. Once again using my old book which I have turned into a fun journaling one, with the words in the background already.  Paints, gesso, texture paste, and stamping used. My stamps are all from STAMPlorations as is my stencil. Just a bit of a fun play day.

Making my way back to a few challenges I used to
go into and enjoyed..[have lots of ME time].

Background is made with TH distressed inks,  gesso, acrylic paint
dotty stencil which I used my Micron pen with.
Stamp and die are from STAMPlorations called
"Pocket Blooms"
and the stencil I used is called
"Retro Circles"

the pencil box !

A good way to spend the day when one feels 'lazy' and

it's raining. Mixed media, gesso, moulding paste, stamps,

stencils, paints, brusho's and a bit of frantage, make a good result.

I found this pencil case in my stash recently so it is now

a pretty one for the nursing home fete fundraising.

A glorious beautiful sunny and mild day, love it.

Another mixed media, this time a spring tag using alcohol inks on yupo paper,

scrunched up some bubble wrap placed over the inks and left it overnight to dry.

I then used ARTplorations Happy Flowers stencil

and ARTplorations Some bird stencil with modelling paste.

[adding a touch of pink dylusion ink into the paste]

Always fabulous challenges at Stamplorations with so much incentive and inspirations from the design team

I have used my newly arrived stamp and die cut by Shery Russ Designs

called Pocket Blooms

For the background I used Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Powder and water

colouring, using the smooshing technique with acetate.

Stamping  and painting my pocket image then using my die to cut it out.

Using mounting tape I placed it in front of the flowers.

Using one of my Stamplorations collection of lovely stamps,
this one is called 'Bloom Sketches" made up with water
colours.  Still learning how to use these effectively so
the result is somewhat different for me.

Spritzing water on thick water paper cardstock, I then placed it into my
misti, painted my stamps with DI and let the water do
the rest.  It was interesting making this so I will be
playing more today.

Flower soft was added to the center of one flower.
