Hi and big welcome to my newest three followers, love seeing you here. A chilly one here today but then it's our winter so to be expected.

Today a mix media play day, using loads of stencils, stamps, paints, dylusion sprays, Art by Marlene stamp, in other words, 'the works burger'. This is a large A4 journal so there's plenty to add on here.

polkadoodles

Mixed media, paints, stencil and embossing paste. This gorgeous stamp is by Polkadoodles, stamped onto my background, then stamped again onto a gelli plate created background using stencils and paints. Fussy cut and placed onto the the main background stamps.  Love my journal pages and fun in the making.

Making my way back to a few challenges I used to
go into and enjoyed..[have lots of ME time].

Background is made with TH distressed inks,  gesso, acrylic paint
dotty stencil which I used my Micron pen with.
Stamp and die are from STAMPlorations called
"Pocket Blooms"
and the stencil I used is called
"Retro Circles"

journal invasion

Yikes! I have been invaded by a 'male' mixed media page
 into my journal... I think my sentiment says it all,
isn't that what men normally say?
Here is my journal page using TH stencil, stamp,
some texture paste, dies and dylusion sprays
in the background. A touch of builders tape
I had to borrow from another page as I
put the roll in a safe place now can't find it..
Sound familiar?
I find it so much fun to splat and it not only gives me pleasure to play
but it is also a time of leisure to me, only time of leisure where
one can do their 'own thing' and be totally relaxed..
I also stamped my TH stamp onto tissue paper and then
added it to my journal page with clear mod podge.

......and it's still raining, we are off to the movies..

Rain or shine, love to do mixed media anytime, and today
it's raining, good for the garden after our dry spell.
Here's my mixed media piece using lots of texture,
builders tape, stencils and 'sand' texture paste.
Dylusion sprays and inks were also used.

Celebrate blue skies and sunshine

Today, down under we had blue skies and sunshine...love it.
Now the sun has gone down and the night has set in.

Another play with mixed media goodies.

The butterfly, embossed,  and sun are die cuts. Clouds were done with
cotton ball sponged into DI inks. Stamps of all varieties and brands

were use including the bird, a  Carabelle Studio Stamp
Glossy accents used on die cut alpha's

A good way to spend the day when one feels 'lazy' and

it's raining. Mixed media, gesso, moulding paste, stamps,

stencils, paints, brusho's and a bit of frantage, make a good result.

I found this pencil case in my stash recently so it is now

a pretty one for the nursing home fete fundraising.

A glorious beautiful sunny and mild day, love it.

Another mixed media, this time a spring tag using alcohol inks on yupo paper,

scrunched up some bubble wrap placed over the inks and left it overnight to dry.

I then used ARTplorations Happy Flowers stencil

and ARTplorations Some bird stencil with modelling paste.

[adding a touch of pink dylusion ink into the paste]
