Our challenges are always anything goes  with 

Christmas

My card is Christmas Aussie style on the farm.

Most likely not as green as this design.

Using an old stamp in my stash of of the animals 

and all other

Lavinia stamps and Acetate Hill stencils.

The farm and tractor was a purchase on etsy.

Spellbinders Deco Holiday embossing folder was used, 

inking the inside to match the colour of my design

This is a great way to get your cards made early for Christmas 

Tim Holtz dies,  I tore my paper to make the look of

snow, gesso brush painted in the background and 

some of my poinsettia's I made using spellbinders dies.

My Christmas Cardinal was coloured with a combo of copics

and prismacolour pencils.. the pencils bring out the colour.

The stamps are by Stampin Up..

Using spellbinders skate die, poinsettia and 

designer paper from a friend in Germany. The circle was

chipboard triple heat embossed in my  Hot plate.

I used a silhouette cutting file, resizing it as it's

a pretty big file, using my silhouette cameo,

file is from the Silhouette Design Store.

Placing a Christmas tree chippie behind it and some free

gingerbread men from The Hungry Jpeg.

Designer paper was placed behind my image and photographed

and added to my card... a snowflake cut from glitter paper.

Gell pen was used to glitter up some stars.

of my image and added some posca splats for

extra snow.

Using a Lavinia Christmas tree stamp, 

elements ink for stamping and copics to

colour the baubles. 

A touch of gesso and a brick stencil with

embossing paste I added a few drops of colours to.

Reindeer silhouette cut out and a clock from my

stash. The window frame is a png file added after

in my programme.

I used some textured cardstock and cut into 

fun pieces for the tree,  the baubles are stickers

from the dollar store here. Love to see your

Nutcrackers

I was lucky to purchase via etsy this Woodware clear

Nutcracker stamp. 

The nutcracker, coloured with prismacolour pencils, 

added coloured paints behind the stamp, 

framed with leaf die using gold foil cardstock.

called Santa. 

My Creation is based on an Aussie Christmas.

Cutting out the window and adding my coloured

image, with copic markers, behind it.

Snowy Jar

My design is inspired by our mood board, using a mason Jar

and adding the Christmas berries and cones.

The clean mason jar has 'salt' inside to be used as snow.

some moge podge around the top part of the mason jar, 

then sprinkle a handful of  your salt around that so it 'glues'  onto the surface.

Once dry brush off the excess salt and use twine, and any other

Christmas embellishments to decorate..

I love making my poinsettia flowers so I 

used the mood board for my inspiration. 

Using Spellbinders poinsettia die, flowers coloured

with copics before using my tools to create the shapes.

My card is a fence style design and the foam berries were

coloured by using alcohol inks.. A few paint spats.

For my design I have used designer papers from this pack 

....and used the window page, my own hand made poinsettia's

glitter snow in the windows, and using the bow maker

for my gold bow.. I trimmed the windows out to be able

to add a santa image behind it. A silhouette cameo reindeer was

also cut and added
