this lady is called Lady Bug
I usually stamp/print onto the background first, print the image again, colour, fussy cut then add to the background. Hence you don't lose the fine bits in the image.

Paint splats, copic markers, posca gliter pens....

Taking photos at night doesn't do the card any justice really 

Quirky

Fun day crafting after a great walk with Mr Monte and hubby. 

I altered an old previous mixed media frame, and converted it into something a bit more quirky. My daughter is a teacher in a child care center and wanted some quirky and bright things for her class room..

I also use an images by  Vera Lane Studio  coloured with copic markers, fussy cut and adhered to my frame...with a heat gun.

Loads of mixed media, dylusion paints, metals painted and wax added.

April Kindness Postcard

 Having a challenge making a 4 x 6 inch postcard today, using a background I designed on the gelli plate and trimmed to size. My images were printed onto water colour paper. Spectrum Aqua pens were used to colour. Images were fussy cut by hand and put into place. I did foam mount the dress but it doesn't show here as neither does the glitter. I intend posting this off to a special friend.

Whimsical girl

Yesterday I was so excited to have found my 'lost' Vera Lane Studio images in my external hard drive....now I can enter the challenges with this whimsical set of images. I started this 8 x 10 Art by Marlene journal page yesterday and today added my coloured and fussy cut out images..resizing them to suit my scene.
