songs of the sea

A busy last couple of days, cleaning my computer and 'rubbish' files from 2015, amazing what one finds some good which I kept and some I wouldn't  use. New computer gets here on Monday so had to prepare a lot which took me almost two days. I did however, manage to relax by making this card tonight.
Hope to visit you all tomorrow

Peony Dawn

Another day of colouring, cool weather and time out.
I used Peony Dawn, greyscale  by Ching-Chou Kuik, using prisma colour pencils and a yellow gel pen. A stencil by Kaisercraft and background paper designed on the gelli plate with distressed oxides. Dry embossed with EF by Altenew. These are the most gorgeous images to colour.
Big apologies, I accidentally deleted ALL of my comments on my last few posts and most on my ATC post...and then deleted all my incoming mail....How? Too eager to have a clean up and not knowing what I was doing, now I know....so thank you to all who did comment. I will be visiting your blogs.

Parrot Love

Have you seen the lovely new images by Ching-Chou Kuik?
These have been favourites of mine from way back and love colouring them.
Last challenge I won Artist Award picked by the artist herself, so honoured.
This was the card with the bird chosen HERE under the yorkshire terrier

Today I used the gorgeous image to colour with my  polychromo pencils, which have a lovely smooth feel when colouring. Colouring birds and flowers is something I have always loved and here is my result. The flower is to be an orchid made with foamiran as well.

I have used a gorgeous image called Parrot Love.
