MONTE my surfer boy
a morning at the beach, mainly for dogs, where my
boy attached himself to a surfer,
who patiently took him
out on his board and Monte was so excited.
He actually got
on the board, then swam back to shore.
First time at the beach..
He was just so good with other dogs and people there...
Proud of my boy...

Bedazzled

Trying to match all the mood board colours
with acrylic paints and for it not to turn
into a mud pack...which it didn't
but took ages to dry.
 All chipboards are from
Chipboards used are:
Shells,  Blueprint Explore, Birds on a Branch,
Mystic Frame
All covered with gesso then acrylic painted with
glossy accent added to some.
Using a stencil, Bedazzled, also from The Dusty Attic.
I needed to break down the background
a little...so this helped along with some gesso
painted lightly over the lot...
 [Along with some stamping.]

the dusty attic

Being stuck in bed with the SA nasty virus for last
two weeks, hubby took me across Adelaide to
a scrap place where I could get some chippies
designed by The Dusty Attic to create
my next challenge project.

PLUS I also noticed today I won a
$50 voucher to their fabulous store
by a win in the last challenge>
a bonus for when one is ill.

It has taken two days to complete my project
and here is the result. Thanks to my DIL
for the use of her computer.

shotover jet

When we went to Queenstown, New Zealand,
just after my dad died, my hubby arranged
all sorts of fun activities to keep the mind
busy. The Shotover Jet was just one of them
and it was fabulous so hence another
memory page for me.. I found some
Fabric doilies in the cheap shop, added stitching
and a rolled flower using a die.
Along with twine and a small wreath from
Spotlight store.
Most goods used are from
The Dusty Attic
Chain Circle
Birds on a branch
Rose Vine
Flowers
49 and Market designer papers
[ripped and stitched by me]
Dusty in colour paints

A little bit of Country

These are not colours I would normally use and
was a bit apprehensive to start but once I did,
found they are fab colours as in the mood
board. Tried to use them all but
not sure if I succeeded.
Painting with acrylic paints on my chippies, as I soon
discovered my TH DI did not achieve the colours
I wanted on my chipboard pieces.
Photo is of one of my family.
Chipboards from The Dusty Attic are:
A little bit of Country
Rustic farm fence
Gum Trees
Birds Nests #1

sea life

My goal this year is to create more mixed media and
a lot of  scrapbooking designs.....
[Along with a few DT cards of course
entering only a few desired challenges] .
Started my prep last night after we returned home from a
few days away at Coffs Harbour and finished my canvas piece today.
Dylusion stamps, 'Old is the new Black'  and  "The right words"
were used as my goal "journaling"

Hot again so off to swim with grandson and hubby.
