sandpaper, pencils and fuchsias

I finally got around to making flowers from my
Foamiran and decided to make fuchsias.
These are made using a rose die, hot iron, glue gun
and the use of stamens for the center.
Heartfelt Creations Vining fuchsia, stamped and fussy cut
then added to my card.

I am also using a technique called

Sanded Pencil background. 

I first found this on Karen's blog who gave us this link to the tutorial.

Different and pretty nice result too using
pencils, sandpaper and a stencil.

box with gesso, dylusion paints, TH crackle paint.

I cut out some roses pasted them down,

This week at Allsorts Challenges,  the theme is

On my DT card this week 

I have chosen to use some washi tape.
The washi tape  was placed in strips across

cardstock and then I used a die cut for the sentiment.

Strips were also added to the base of my easel card.

Strawberry fields....

Paper piecing is certainly one of my

favourite techniques.
My first card is an image from our sponsor
which has been paper pieced. These cuties are called
"Stewie Wedding Set"
this image is easy to paper piece .
I  coloured the face, ears and arms with
copic markers.

On my second card...

I used a stamp from 

Power Poppy and paper pieced it with DP from a Strawberry kit.

I have two layers on part of my stamp but they don't show up...♥
