birds 🐦

Have you ever really looked to see how many dies you have?
I have spent the last 4 days sorting mine out in order and onto
magnetic sheets and into A5 folders, all 10 of them!! [folders that is]
Now I know that's an expensive way of sorting them
but at least I know what I have and where they are..

Next are my stamps. Any suggestions on sorting stamps
to be easy access?

A quick card today for a friend who's ill.

Dies used from Dies R Us are:
Dove Circle
Memory Box Delicate Flower frame
Cut on my Big Shot

Hi bust girl storting out your toys of stuff😂😂😂😂! I have ArtBin suitcases with magnetic sheets filled to the top and my stamps are in plastic containers. I kind of know wat I have but sometimes rediscover oldies and goodies that are still nice...
The privacystuff is a pain! Sine yesterday reactions on my blog don't appear in my mailbox as the have been for 7 years and I am so not happy about it...cannot find anything on the net yet but keep search cause this is 👎👎👎👎👎👎!

A beautiful card Annie -
I purchased some folders with pockets on EBay (Aus) and they never arrived, and I can't remember my password to get back in :-( Tried and nearly got locked out!

Morning/Evening Annie, what a task it is to die sort but worth it i'm sure. Maybe one day if I ever get my very own space and a little free time I will be able to do the very same. Your card is fabulous.

What a lot of work to sort your dies Annie, hope that it is now clear for you and yes ... we have bought a lot in all those hobby years, everyone can talk about it. Also see a nice card again! A very good weekend and good luck with sorting the stamps! I keep mine in DVD boxes without rosette.

A fantastic card Annie and how good of you to sort out all of your dies, I wished mine fitted in just 10 A5 folders, I bought dies storage folders (A4, 8x8 and 6x6) with extra sleeves for all of them and still have not sorted everything and I'm on about folder 16 now. My stamps I store in clear A4 boxes with a label on the side with a rough idea on the contents. Have fun.

You are a brave woman!! I have never counted mine...too scared to. Love this card, really pretty xx

I keep my dies in Art Bins on magnetic sheets, but only have three of them. My stamps I keep in DVD boxes and on sheets in big file folders. Your way of storing them is a clever way too.
Have a nice weekend, I still have to look into this privacy policy thing.

Beautiful card Annie, love the pretty pastel lavender. I am ever sorting out my dies, almost embarrassing how many I have lol. I have bought the Avery Elle stamp bags for all my stamps, except wood block ones of course. They come in 3 sizes, and I LOVE them...maybe I will do a post on them soon! Have a great day! Oh and thank you for joining our challenge at Dies R Us!

Hi aNNie! I have done this, too :) For the thin dies I have three A3 folders very full, plus one A5, plus a very big pile of high Sizzix Bigz dies that cut thick materials as chipboard etc (I'm diecut addict!! I have so much more dies than stamps!! :) )
Magnetic sheets are so expensive, but I agree, it's the only way to know what I have and find what I want...
Your card is so frilly and sweet, love the intricate panel and the doves! Lovely colours, too!

Wow, that's a big job, sorting out dies, well done ! I have my stamps in plastic folders in big files, some under their branch names, others separate (like f.i. Christmas stamps). It's not easy to keep it all "under control" ! :o) Hugs, Enny

Goodness Annie and another die is on its way to you. LOL I have the same problem but with stamps and I keep them in cases by brand there are special sheets for these cases which hold clear and rubber stamps. Works perfect.
Your card looks so lovely Annie. Hugs Veerle xxx

Pretty card! I also store my dies in the Artbin, my stamps I just store them in Albums like the photo type and label them by vendors. To me it's easier so if I want something by example: (Simon Says) I can find it that album. Let me know how you sorted them out too. Enjoy your holiday weekend~

This is so gorgeous, Annie!! I love the dies you used and the colors!! It's so beautiful!! I store all of my stamps in (knock-off) Avery Elle bags with labels on them of the company. I have a large cabinet with three drawers with pull-out shelves that my Dad built for me to store them. I do the dies the same way, on magnetic sheets inside smaller clear envelopes. If you would like info on where I got the bags, just let me know and I'll dig it up :) Have a great weekend!! Big hugs :)

This is an incredible card, Annie. I absolutely ADORE th birds and how you used those dies. I guess I know why I don't own any dies. The collecting must be addictive and the cost must be out of sight. You certainly put yours to good use, though.

As for stamps, I have mine in three little drawers. I will NEVER remove the stamps from the wooden holders, although I have been given a few that have no wood attached. I guess I'm less about stamps, stencils, and dies than I am about collage fodder. At some point you will surely figure out what works best for you.

Beautiful card,Annie.I save my dies in Artbin cases and in shoe boxes :). I keep the brands together and my stamps are in plastic boxes.I keep everything in the original packaging for the numbers and still I can't find always, where I looking for :).

What a great job sorting out those dies and I bet you found ones you had forgot about? Good luck with sorting out the stamps...maybe it's best not to sort them, as you'll probably get a fright to how many you own!! What an elegant card for your friend with fabulous and pretty dies and great colourway...this will definitely cheer her up x

Some really lovely dies and a super card.
I have a lot of drawers in my craft room and I put my stamps in them by make, PB and Woodware have large ones and other makes have smaller ones and one offs are mixed. Works for me.

Very pretty card and love the colours. I keep all my stamps on A4 pieces of Acetate and then in clear pockets. They are then in ring binders (4 rings and not 2) filed by brands or type. Like mens, children/Babies, floral, sentiments etc. All labelled of course. They are kept on a shelf under my desk, so easy to get at. I also have some in boxes too! Big hugs, Carol S. xxxx
