Wild Thing

Today I am using an image Beccy has offered for her monthly challenge, isn't he cute. [not exactly a 'wild thing' as my title says.] I am also using DP, Cheery Lynn dies, Amy Design die and sticker flowers. Fun, 'just because' card, but also to tell you Beccy has loads of fab images and stamps and most amazing  tutorials...I have one in the making and it's hopefully going to turn out like her examples..

Made a very quick card for the boy across the

road who is going on  his first ever plane trip

on the weekend...

Background was made on the gelli plate,

images coloured with water paints,

[roughly], glitter paper , paint splats

 stencils and gesso to tone down the

 background for  clouds..
Stickers.

Have you ever really looked to see how many dies you have?
I have spent the last 4 days sorting mine out in order and onto
magnetic sheets and into A5 folders, all 10 of them!! [folders that is]
Now I know that's an expensive way of sorting them
but at least I know what I have and where they are..

Next are my stamps. Any suggestions on sorting stamps
to be easy access?

Another foamiran play day today and I made Peonies, roses and
some daisies. On today's card I am using just the one flower
as I made several cuts of it so it is pretty 'full'. The center is
doubled as well and coloured with the yellow.  Stamens
can also be used, depending on what flower you make.

Coloured with apricot, yellow and pink chalks with baby wipes for a smooth look. You really need a full day just to make flowers to make them
look beautiful as heating, shaping all takes time. The iron and hot
glue  can get pretty messy and burning fingers do occur.
I always only use white foamiran so I can colour
to suit my creations.

Colours of Autumn

My background was made  using distress oxide inks
  onto a stamping block, spritzed with water
then smeared over my water paper.

Indigo Blue stamp, Spellbinders and Memory Box Dies
were used.

Today, it's outdoor in the sunshine and do a bit of cleaning up
after the wind, leaves and dust everywhere.
My card and tag is as bright as our sunshine today.

My tag has gesso, dylusion sprays, paint and crackle paste on it.
My paper for my hand made flowers were sprayed with dylusion sprays. 
The background for my card base was made on the gelli plate and
bright paint..

Dolphin Watch

Time to get the dies out and make something creative.

My theme is a beach scene using the dies listed at the end of this post.

Without the Frame..

We often watch the dolphins when we go out for dinner at our

favourite restaurant on the water front here.

Texture paste was used on the waves.
