hello to happy life

A fabulous day today. Big walk with my man
around the lake [10 mins from home],
hair done, facial done
a picnic lunch on the lake shore then home to
be outdoors doing my mixed media page.
Stamps used are Lavinia stamps,
tissue paper, modge podge and
a variety of 4 paints...
...Gesso, stencils, texture paste, chipboard and some
cotton scrunched  onto the gesso,
twine and flowers to finish off.

Pics of our walk today and picnic at Lake Macquarie near home.
[our fav place once a week and popular with tourist and locals
and where hubby goes sailing...for you Valerie-Jael]
There has lately been sightings of sharks in the lake
which is a bit of a worry for summer sporting.
There is a mouth opening from the sea
where the sharks are coming from.

I LOVE this mixed media entry, Annie. Those Lavinia fairies are quite popular and you chose a beauty.

What a fabulous place to have a picnic with your husband. It looked quite romantic, too.

What a wonderful day you have had Annie - love your piece of art - the colours are so vibrant!
Is your lake sea fed that there are (possibly) sharks in it? It looks a beautiful spot for a walk and picnic. Make the most of those special times with your man.

Seems that you have had a fabulous relaxing day, I would need one too :)
The lake is so peaceful, but I'm very impressed for the sharks. I didn't know that they leave also in fresh waters!
Big hugs, I'm going to work... :(

Wat een prachtige creatie heb je gemaakt. Mooie fleurige kleuren en prachtig met die Fairies.

Mooie omgeving, maar dat is dan wel uitkijken voor de haaien.

xXx Astrid.

Beautiful card, love the vibrant colours! You live near a lake too! Although our lake is not in connection with the sea and is much smaller. Sounds wonderful, a walk and then a picnic!

Ahhh, your page looks as bright and colorful and cheery as summertime! You look very relaxed and happy, enjoying the view. That's a big lake and a beautiful spot to recreate. Considering the sharks, I'd sure stay out of the water. We don't even let our dogs swim in the bay or ocean anymore because of seals and sea lions. There is the occasional shark here, too. We're just being over cautious, I'm sure.
