Silhouette of Autumn

Sometimes it's good to play CAS. I never could
make these cards but lately love the variety of
different cards and challenging myself.

The yellow cardstock is only for photo taking as the white card
wouldn't show up.

My background was made  using the scraps from another
card distress oxide inks

sprayed onto a stamping block, spritzed with water
then smeared over my water paper.

An old silhouette stamp which
was converted from a wooden block to use on the misti..

Masking & Ribbons

Recently I purchased this gorgeous stamp from  Stamplorations.
It's called "Best Mom Ever"

My CAS card was stamped first with the sentiment,
I then masked over the sentiment and placed my card stock into
the misti.  Using Kaleidacolor ink pad, I stamped onto the top
and bottom of my mask.  A rather lovely result.
I then coloured a few flowers with my Zig clean colour brushes.

A couple of dies were also used.

On my second card I just used ribbons, embossed background and
a few flowers which I won from I Am Roses.

I would  like to add this RIBBON card  to the challenge at
Allsorts Challenges....Ribbons, more than just a bow





A couple of days left for my candy...

Celebrating.

CAS, mmmm, I am attempting this again and must admit

I have taken a liking of making these cards, particularly when it comes

from the lovely inspiration from others.

I have been inspired by Justine and her card, although I found

I have no clear embossing powder left.  In place of the embossing

I used a stencil and DI.

Happy with that, and yes the Happy Birthday in the center is

meant to be upside down...🙂
