Morning Glory

We had a very relaxing Australia Day

after a lovely Aussie BBQ.  Once

visitors left it was craft time.

I have had this image by

art by MiRan printed for ages and 

decided it was time to colour her up.

Her name is Morning Glory

Coloured with copic markers, DP torn and distressed

with ink.

the purpose of life...

Every night for the past few nights I have been 

telling myself I must go to bed early, yeah, right,

early in the morning.  I get carried away with some

mixed media work and finished it off tonight.

Using an image freebie from Art by Miran facebook

challenge, I coloured her with pan pastels, only have a  few

and never used them before so at least I tried.

Mixed media products using almost everything I have,

 including chip board. Several different stencils
were used as well.

other die cuts for my card and a lovely stick

Been a hot one here last few days so good for crafting

under the air con.  Sending warmth to my friends

who are out in the cold.

I have been playing with a template I received  using the

Dutch Doobadoo Triptech template for the shape.

I finally dusted off my Cricut Expressions and used the

Spring Cottage cartridge for the gazzeebo. Dies were

used for the flowing leaves in the breeze of her

hair.  A few bird dies and cage were also used.

My image was coloured with copic markers and

polychromo pencils.

Christmas Eve

I almost forgot to publish my card using

I have had this image for a while

and love it for Christmas Cards.

I must admit I adore MiRan's images.

Keeping my card flat and simple for posting, my image

was coloured with polychromo pencils and 

baby oil. I received a new die in the mail

recently  so I had to use it...

Recently I was invited by art by MiRan and her

fabulous design team to be GD for this 

challenge at Art by Mi Ran Challenges.

 Of course I said 'yes'.

The gorgeous image I am using is called

"Farren" found in store with many other

gorgeous new releases.

Using TH distressed inks and a mask I created

my background, coloured my image with

copic markers and used a few dies.

time in my craft room just playing.  

Yesterday I received my new dies  so made this 

'book' card as I call it...many folds and layers.

skin and hair. I haven't yet mastered the skin
