Create Art

Lovely long walk this morning and Monte was in his element after being 'cooped' up the last few days due to rain...he found more mud puddles and the fresh water streaming into the pond... now asleep...
Today I finished off my new blue edition journal again and Dark Room Door stencils, stamps, Dylusion sprays and a collage .
Definitely not my colours but the mood board is shown below.
Back out into the garden tomorrow, have a few flowers to pot.
See you soon.

L♥ve

A bit of a 'love' card today using paints, stamping and die cuts.
Arteza paint I have are very vibrant in colour and adding a bit of
water makes them easy to glide over textured embossing.
Fussy cutting and a stick on butterfly was used as well..

It's a dog's life

My dog has one awesome life and is my shadow
where ever I go.....anything for food!
Love my Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs but don't use them
often enough so this challenge was just perfect.
Coloured with copic markers and used a bit of 'girly' things
for my girly dog card.

Discover ♥

A big taste of summer in my part of the world.
Preparations are already in place to prevent
upcoming bush fires due to our dry winter.
[We already have one big bush fire surrounding
our area today  and it's too soon in the year
for these to occur, the winds are strong and
the smoke horrible.]
So indoors today, playing with goodies.

I used Tim Holtz scribble and splats die set
Distressed Oxide Ink pads, Dylusion sprays and Brusho's
were all used for my background.
Star chipboard pieces coloured with Delicata golden ink pad.
Stars stamped with the same ink pad.

School/Study

A few years back I used to be on the design team for
Sweet Pea Stamps, until they shut their door, and this cute image was one of many we were lucky to use.
Artist is Lynne Stansbery.
[I am not certain if she is around]

Using Lyra pencils to colour my image, a few chip board
pieces and foamiran flower I made using a die.

Movies and food

Sharing a card using...

These are great as they have 12 mini stamps all up
and a variety which is good to use for any occasion.
My stamps were stamped with Simon Says stamp pads:
Winter Sky, Velvet Orchid, and Rose Apple.

I printed up  a page of film strips using special
acetate paper for printing and cut the strip for  my card.

My background was designed using my dylusion sprays.

"Happy Birthday"

Sharing a very simple and quickly made card today. The sun is shining
so many hours were spent out in my garden, re-potting and just enjoying
the beautiful day.  I hope your day is the same.

My card edges were distressed  using my Tim Holtz paper distresser.
DP, dies, stamp and some glitter used.

Shape it.

Having had a day to myself, I made several paper projects. Three of these
are being donated to the local nursing home for their upcoming
fundraising fete. They sell quickly too.
They all have a battery candle in them as seen in this project.

Although I have made many of  these before,
they are very fiddly to put together,  a lot of glue used and sticky fingers.
I created my project on the silhouette cameo and filled it with
flowers,  from I am Roses.
The flowers were adhered with the hot glue gun.
Card stock and scrap DP were used.

project using the lovely image called
Flower Doodles 2 colouring page

My doodle flower was printed onto good quality tissue paper,
wet glued and use of clear gesso onto my dried mixed media.
Then touch up with what ever I wanted coloured.

winter 'pick me up'

Great days when it's cooler and we can sit in our craft rooms
and colour to our "heart's content.
Today is one of those days.
A 'winter pick me  up' card for those of us going into
winter mode and mojo has gone with the sun. 🌤

This card was especially made for a special friend, Maxine, who just recently
lost the love of her life....♥

The image is called "winter pick me up" by Power Poppy Stamps
coloured with copic markers and framed with my Marianne Die.
The outside of the frame was left in black and white where I added
parts of the gorgeous stamp.
